Shipping Lead

Position Overview

As a Shipping Lead, you are part of the Shipping team that ensures the shipping functions at your facility run in an efficient manner to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Description

• Distribute outbound loads to the Selectors for selection of product
• Ensure that trailers are at the correct doors in a timely fashion
• Communicate trailer temperature needs and verify as correct
• Work with the Warehouse management to ensure all dispatch times are met for outbound loads
• Work with the Shipping Clerks to closely manage all shipping functions
• Enter and adjust information in the WMS system to ensure accurate information is transmitted to the necessary personnel
• There may be other duties assigned to you as needed by your supervisor
• Travel Required:No

Environment

• Warehouse : Store/Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : understanding and ability to learn the EXE system.
• Special Skills : good communication skills and some computer applications training.
• Physical abilities: Lift up to 60 lbs when required.

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 : Relevant experience.
